A Message from MAGGIE KREINS, CBAA President 2006-2007

Dear CBAA Members and Colleagues:

A part of our plan to increase the efficiency and influence of CBAA in the Criminal Justice System is to expand the use and functions of CBAA Standing (permanent) Committees. As a trade association we've under utilized our greatest assets—the energies and intellects of our members—for far too long. An expanded committee structure also allows CBAA to bring more members into its internal workings, spreads the workload out and strengthens CBAA in numerous other ways.

I invite you to participate in this opportunity to volunteer for committee work to every CBAA member. My guess is that on average one full day a month may be asked of each volunteer by the committee chair....maybe more, maybe less. In any case, since public safety is the bail industry's business, your valuable time will be well spent!
