Pursuant to California Bail Agents Association’s Bylaws, this is an Election Year. 

This is a

CALL FOR NOMINIATIONS:

If you are or know someone interested in the Bail Industry who is hard-working, dedicated, detailed oriented, loyal, and passionate about bail, nominate them!

Elections for CBAA Officers and Directors will be held at the 2023 Annual Convention during the Membership Meeting at the  44th Annual Convention at The Peppermill Resort Spa Casino on October 9th, 2023. 

CBAA President, Bill Armstrong, has appointed Gloria Mitchell as Chair of the Nominating Committee.

All Current Board Members and New Nominees MUST mail their ORIGINAL Nomination Forms to Gloria Mitchell, Chair of the Nominating Committee, at the address below  Post Marked by August 31st, 2023 to be considered.

Please Note: Nominator MUST be a different person than Nominee, and both must sign the original document.

• Parliamentarian

** Must have served on the Board of Directors for a 2-year term. Must be licensed for 5 (five) or more years and must have attended 2 (two) of the last 4 (four) Annual Meetings.**

Board of Directors Include:

• AREA 1: Alameda, Contra Costa, Del Norte, Humboldt, Lake, Marin, Mendocino, Napa, San Mateo, Solano and Sonoma, San Francisco
• AREA 2: Los Angeles, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura
• AREA 3: Alpine, Amador, Butte, Calaveras, Colusa, El Dorado, Glenn, Lassen, Modoc, Mono, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Shasta, Sierra, Siskiyou, Sutter, Tehama, Trinity, Yolo and Yuba
• AREA 4: Imperial, Inyo, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego
• AREA 5: Fresno, Kern, Kings, Madera, Mariposa, Merced, Stanislaus, Tulare and Tuolumne
• AREA 6: Monterey, San Benito, Santa Clara and Santa Cruz

All Nominees and Nominators MUST be current CBAA Members and in good standing. The Nomination Period Starts on July 13th and will close on August 31st, 2023. 

Voting and Announcement of the new CBAA Officers and Board of Directors will take place at the 2023 Annual Convention. Must be Present to Vote.
