SB 562 PASSED THE SENATE — JUNE 4, 2025

This was expected — but the fight is NOT over.  The bill now moves to the California Assembly.

SB 562 threatens the foundation of our bail system by forcing agents to refund premiums when charges aren’t filed within 21 days — even after providing full services.

CBAA is supporting campaign, marketing, and media efforts by Golden State Communities that has the full support of the Cailfornia District Attorney’s Association on this issue.
